I designed this book for an exhibition called SORT GUL RØD (black, yellow, red) about the architecture in the Danish city Skagen. The visual heritage in the city is strongly influenced by the three colours coming from the black tarred fisherman's cottages, the yellow chalked houses and the red bricks layed in a very specific pattern. The exhibition was about the history behind these traditions, how they influenced the physical frames around the famous Skagen painters and how they are represented and mis-represented today.
